Genesis of KV

K.V. Panna is one of the offshoots of Bhopal Region of KVS under Civil Sector established in Feb 2007.This KV is traversing on the path of academic excellence in upswing trends with glory to the greater glory making robust commitments and fulfilling the desire and aspiration of the people of Panna. Within very short span of time this learning temple became the testament of the work forces and skills of the pupils.

 The existing temporary building of KV Panna is located adjacent to Disst. Civil Hospital Panna, 01 K.M from city bus Stand Panna. The nearest Railway Station is Khajuraho, at a distance of 35 K.M. and second nearest station is Satna, at a distance of 70 K.M.

FACILITIES:-

Academic:-

This KV is up to class VII imbibes modern education to the students  with latest trend of methodology for their alround development . There is provision of ICT added teaching, teaching for enrichment of communicative English maintaining quality English Teaching recommended by National Knowledge Commission 2006. . English has been made as lingua franca in class room and school premises.. However, abundant scope has been given away for development of bilingual competencies of the tiny-tots. Teaching in  Primary Classes has been moulded exactly as per the manifold instructions of CMP whereas middle classes  has been switched over towards the latest trend of learning oriented teaching.

Computer lab:-

This  KV has  one  well equipped and furnished computer lab.

Library:-

Though the library of this  newly opened Vidyalaya is small having around 500 books but it contains books of the latest requirements for all round development of the pupils and provides necessary feedback to the teachers for their professional growth. It is being computerized which is in progress. The daily news papers,  weekly and periodic magazines are procured for developing bilingual competencies of the learners and promote creativity among the students. This library not only provides books and magazines it promotes library based activities. Every year it is replenished with around 200 books.

Games and Sports:-

There is facility  of Indoor Games Carom, Badminton and a play field  for  Outdoor Games as  Kababdai, kho-kho, Football, Cricket and all athletics. To nurture good culture Colourful CCA programme is organised on every Saturday. There is Integrity Club to foster National Integration ,peace communal harmony and create feeling of oneness. Furthermore, all facilities have been extended to the pupils within the ambit of  NCF 2005. 

Gradual Year wise Expansion

This Kendriya Vidyalaya is functioning in temporary building sponsored by District Administration, Panna. It starts in Feb 2007 with 200 students from Class I to V having single section in each class. In view of the consequentional promotion of the students this school was upgraded from class V to VI in the year 2008 and subsequently to Class VII in 2009.   

Important Milestones of Growth

The plain land of 8.5 acres located in the heart of Panna city   has been transferred to this KV by the District administration, Panna in the year 2007. The KVS(HQ) has sanctioned Rs 542.85 lakhs of the project of Type A school building , 09 units Staff quarters and boundary wall. The construction work was awarded to Madhya Pradesh Housing Board.  Magnificent permanent school building and staff quarters are under construction in a campus of 8.5 acres plain land. The   permanent school building and staff quarters are to be handed over to this KV by the end of February 2010. The site of permanent school building and staff quarters is in the heart of main city. Bus stand is adjacent to school building. Diamonds mines and Panna national parks (Tiger reserves) are within 10 K.M radius of main building of this KV.
